Blogging across the Web

Via the magic of the web, I am in three, make that four places today.  After all, I'm here, too.
On the Bookboost,  the topic is walking in someone else's shoes.  And you can get a look at my newest release, Blood Hunter.  Click here to Visit the Book Boost
I'm also over at the Torrid Tempations blog talking about Eireann's tale and the New Year.   Click  here to Visit Torrid Temptations.

Last but far from least, I'm joining my fellow Changelings over at The Romance Studio's party site.  Our good friend and one of my mentors, Lena Austin recently suffered the tragic loss of her husband.  So we're throwing a party in her honor.  Come on over for some fun, contests, reciepes and of course, lots of book excerpts.  Here's the link

Wolfman 2 teaser, 1st check in of Round 1!

So how'd I do with my goals the first few days?  Not so well.  I spent most of Monday and much of Tuesday on the networking promo stuff. That ding when I get new email is almost as bad as the phone ringing.  So, I'm going to turn it off except for a hour or so in the morning, around dinner time and before bed.

I did make some progress on my WIP, Wolfman 2.  If I'm going to make my deadline, I'm going to have to make up some lost hours the next few days.  It's really starting to rock along.  Right now I'm working some major conflicts.  Turns out Daniel has a sister!  Maces says she's cute.  Can you guess how Daniel feels about that?

Check back on Sunday to see how I did and more teasers on the plot.

Brannan's #1 post for ROW80: Goals

Normally I get things done one of two ways.
1 Most common: "Oh my God I have a deadline, holiday, whatever coming and I can't put it off any more."
2 Not nearly as often:  "It's that time of day, I'll do..."
3 Sporadic but consuming:  "No, I can't sleep now, I must write.  The voices, they won't leave me alone."

For A Round of Words, I'm going to try something different, more along the lines of #2.  So here are my goals
Write 1000 to 2000 words a day
Or
Spend 4 hours, writing, editing etc.
Plus an hour a day networking and advertising.
Plus once a week updating my website and blog.  Spend at least an hour  here.
Six days a week. Because this is my not just my life but my passion.

So why isn't it easier to get all that and more done?  If it's a passion shouldn't I be setting goals to get the house work done?  Ok, honest, I need help there too.  My big time eater?  Everyone else's great books.  I love to read, obsessively.  So that will be my reward for each goal I meet.
I'm off to get those words written.

Here's a link to others participating: A Round of Words in Eighty Days.

Viking Seduction 2: Blood Slave now available

Boytoy for a sexy blond vampire? No way. This cop has a job: find his daughter, hunt vamps...

Meet Dekker's sister and second in command, Segrun.  Former Viking sheildmaid, vampire, field commander of the Svardraken and all around sexy badass and her new boy toy, Detective Pasquale O'Grady.

Blurb:

I'm a cop. Homicide Detective Pasquale O'Grady. So believe me when I tell you, vampires took my daughter -- along with other missing collage kids. Real vampires, not the Goth wanna-be kind. I even know which one. But the bastard went and got himself dead before Icould track him down.

With my leads gone, my only hope is his killer. I knew convincing another bloodsucker to help me was a long shot. I hadn't counted on his sexy blonde sister who wants me in her bed. It's not that I have something against sex, hell, what man with a pulse would? And since my divorce, I haven't exactly been getting much action. But I'm too damn old to be some Viking Vampire's boytoy -- or worse, blood slave -- no matter how sexy.
